George Washington Law School
The GW chapter seeks to unite law students with lawyers in an organization driven by the need to regard human rights as more sacred than property interests. Members act as legal observers for protests in the Washington, D.C., area, run public awareness and letter-writing campaigns, organize panel discussions, provide volunteer assistance to attorneys working on political cases, and generally support commitment to progressive lawyering.
Events within the last year and a half include:
Women's Clinic Escort Training with WACDTF
Disorientation
Hip-Hop Theory of Justice presented by Professor Paul Butler
Washington Tea Party Voters' Rights Fundraiser
