In response to plans for vigils for debt relief during the IMF Fall Meetings, the MPD are blocking the streets and George Washington Law School is locking its doors. But what are the issues at stake? This month’s meeting will feature a speaker from the 50 Years is Enough Network to talk about the policies of the IMF and the World Bank that are the focus of protests October 2 and 3.

Join us Monday, October 4, at 5 p.m. in STUG03 to learn about how the neo-liberal policies of the IMF and the World Bank impact the poor, women, health, education, and the environment.
