Email
Address Policy:
Email addresses are for general chapter contact, committees approved by the
board, and law school affiliated chapters. Email addresses may also be issued
for chapter projects that are not standing committees. Under no circumstances
may a dcnlg.org e-mail address be used for personal or non-NLG purposes. A
limited number of dcnog.org addresses are available for chapter use. If the
number of addresses requested exceeds the number of addresses available the
board, in consultation with the website committee, shall decide which addresses
will be issued or eliminated. Abuse of this policy may result in the board
issuing a warning, restricting access to an address, or revoking an address.
Content
Policy:
The DC NLG website is designed to facilitate and promote the work of the DC
chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. Content shall reflect the NLG’s
mission and the DC NLG’s priorities and work. A link to the standard
disclaimer shall be posted on each page.
News
and Announcements Policy:
The News and Announcements sections are for news and announcements that relate
to the National Lawyers Guild’s mission and the priorities of the DC
NLG Chapter. Anyone may submit an article or announcement to be posted and
the website committee will review it for relevance and interest. Announcements
and news will also be taken from emails to the members-only DC chapter list
serve. News and announcements that relate directly to the NLG or an NLG member
may be posted without approval by the website committee. News and announcements
that may be of general interest to DC NLG members may be posted after being
reviewed and approved by three members of the website committee for relevance
and interest.
